Contract: 10th June – 29th November 2024

As an Office Administrator, you will be an integral part of the wider Business Support family, offering flexible and resilient administrative support to the wider business. You will perform a range of clerical and administrative tasks.

Duties include:

  • Providing administrative support in various service areas, including Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, Children's Services, Environment and Economy, and Finance and Public Protection.
  • Assisting in the administration of services like the Blue Badge parking scheme.
  • Compiling and managing performance information and data entry tasks.
  • Arranging and facilitating training sessions and meetings, including preparation of necessary documentation.
  • Performing general office duties such as mail services, filing, photocopying, typing, and telephone cover.
  • Delivering high-quality reception duties.
  • Producing accurate notes, actions, or minutes for meetings, and handling sensitive information with care.
  • Promoting excellent customer service and supporting Equality and Diversity initiatives.
  • Maintaining and updating internal computer systems in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with financial tasks such as processing purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Staying up to date with training requirements, including Information Governance and Safeguarding, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and policies.

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Strong administrative and clerical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in using various computer systems and software
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
