Harper Recruitment Group are proud to be working with an award-winning employer and leading Financial organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dedicated Specialist Collections Team but it’s not Collections as you know it! You’ll manage a variety of calls from customers who are experiencing financial difficulty and/or challenging situations in their lives that have led them to fall behind on their credit card payments. You will manage each individual situation to find the most suitable outcome.

First-class training, support and equipment is provided for you to work remotely. You will be based at home with 2 scheduled days per month in the office for collaboration and relationship building. You will be office-based for up to 12 weeks of training, so you must live a commutable distance from Nottingham.

What will the role involve:
 

  • Supporting customers experiencing financial difficulties via telephone and email
  • Using effective questioning and listening skills to analyse customers account circumstances
  • Understanding individual circumstances and agreeing on a suitable outcome
  • Finding sustainable solutions to customer credit problems
  • Processing payments and organising repayment plans
  • Understanding industry requirements and remaining compliant
  • Supporting and signposting customers to external support resources
  • Providing a high level of customer service at all times

Who are we looking for?
 
  • Customer service experience and Resilience are KEY
  • Experience to dealing with vulnerabilities is beneficial
  • An excellent communicator who understands people and can show empathy and advocacy
  • A natural problem solver

Hours: During your 12 week training, you will work Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Once you have completed training, you will move onto a rotating shift pattern.
Monday to Friday: 9 – 5.30 / 11 – 7.30 / 11.30 – 8
You will work every Saturday 9 – 5.30 with a set day off in the week.
