Stock Administrator 

Job Role: Stock Administrator 
Salary: Circa £23k - £26k DOE + BENEFITS 
Location: Ilkeston
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am – 5:30pm (40 hours a week)

Harper Recruitment group are working in partnership with a successful engineering company who are looking for an experienced Stock Administrator to join their administration team. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks and play a vital role in managing and purchasing assets for the business and overseeing suppliers.

What will the role involve?

• Managing and purchasing assets for operational output
• Keep detailed records of all assets, including locations, condition, quarantine, maintenance, servicing and calibration in the company
• Using Excel and Hilti system to log and track data
• Communicating with onsite points of contact such as Project Managers
• Occasional travelling between offices.
• Procurement for the company, including but not limited to equipment, plant, machinery, materials, office furniture.
• General administration duties.
• The role will be split between the Ilkeston and Chesterfield office

The successful Administrator will meet the following criteria:

• Experience within asset management would be desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven administrative experience
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to multi-task and adapt
• Driving Licence essential and use of own car
